Established in 1995, AIS Environment is leading consultancy firm working on diverse and challenging client projects. We are a team of highly professional consultants who provide environmental services requested by the industry related to planning, land use, development and assessment.

The selected candidate will report to the departmental manager, providing technical support and assisting with environmental queries and quotations.

Responsibilities include;

  • conduct fieldwork for baseline surveys and construction site monitoring
  • compile scientific reports for impact assessments and monitoring programmes
  • interpret data and undertake statistical analysis
  • responsible for the execution of projects within the set objectives of delivery and quality.
  • ensure customer satisfaction with the level of service provided.

The chosen candidate shall have a Master’s degree in a scientific subject, preferably on a subject related to Environmental Science. Candidates with professional experience and/or a strong academical background in any of the following subjects: Air quality, Geology, Water, Noise & Vibration, Traffic or Landscape assessments, would be preferred.

Applicants should:

  • Be smart, highly motivated and can work on his/her initiative;
  • Possess good communication skills in both English and Maltese
  • Be proficient in technical report writing
  • Be well versed in computerised systems
  • Hold a valid driving licence

Marketing and Communications Executive

AIS Group, founded in 1991, is made up of specialist companies operating in the engineering and environmental spheres. Companies within the Group are leaders in diverse markets including biometrics, energy management systems, environmental consultancy, archaeological services and waste recycling. The latest addition is our Software division, adding to our growing portfolio of services.

We are seeking a dynamic individual to work on our marketing arm. Our requirement is on full time basis, allowing remote working.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Develop and implement marketing plans
  • Come up with creative and innovative marketing ideas
  • Creation of creative briefs/regular production of email marketing using Outlook and email management tools.
  • Generate web and social media content including articles and blog posts, as well as regular announcements
  • Actively run social media channels (mainly on Facebook and LinkedIn) to promote audience engagement.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of ongoing campaigns and recommend improvements
  • Work with external creative agencies to design artworks and marketing materials such as brochures, corporate stationery and videos.
  • Follow and evaluate sales trends

Knowledge and Skills

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Great verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
  • Have a creative flair with demonstrable experience in marketing.
  • Familiarity with social media, analytic tools and professional networks.
  • Good organisational skills, great attention to detail and time management
  • Basic experience working with Adobe Creative Suite or similar software and WordPress
  • Knowledge of Office 365 applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Qualifications in marketing would be considered an asset

Archaeologist

Established in 1995, AIS Environment is a professional environmental consultancy firm providing all environmental services requested by industry related to planning, land use, development and assessment.

Part of AIS Group of companies, AIS Environment is a highly specialised group of environmental scientists, and we are seeking to recruit an archaeologist to join our existing team.


The selected candidate’s roles would be archaeological monitoring, surveying, investigations and post excavation and research work. The selected candidate is expected to have a University degree in Archaeology, with two years work experience as a minimum. Candidates with a Masters degree in Maltese or Punic Archaeology would be preferred. The successful candidate is expected to manage assigned cases and compile documents and reports for the cases handled. Coaching and guidance shall be provided.

- Good communication skills and strong technical writing skills in English
- Be well versed in computerised systems and AutoCAD drawing
- Hold a valid driving licence
